Hamburg
Mostly destroyed in World War II, Hamburg today is a pleasant harbor city and an important business region. This second largest city in Germany is also the greenest, with parks and nature/countryside preserves.
Heidelberg
The city's tourism site provides sightseeing and tourist information. Don't miss the beautiful castle, the old university area, and the spectacular old bridge.
Rhine River Castles
On this Castles.org tour company site is a page of photos illustrating the castles found along the Rhine River. A drive or boat tour will also show you beautiful vineyards and villages.
Trier
